If you are a mental health therapist in private practice or an training company, wanting to partner in providing Continuing Education (CE) credits for your course(s), then you are in the right place.

Scaling Up is an approved credit provider through the American Psychological Association (APA) and the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). Please follow the steps below to submit your application.

STEP 1:

Complete our comprehensive application process to see if your program is eligible for CE co-sponsorship partnership. It is free to complete our application. To apply, you must have a course already created and launched. The application requires you give us access to review the course, references, evaluations, quiz & keycode, objectives and more.

STEP 2:

If accepted, you will receive an email to schedule a meeting with our team. At that time we will review and sign the contract agreement. A one-time onboarding fee of $500 is required to set up the program initially. Afterwards, the annual renewal cost will be $300 per year. Therapist is responsible for operating and promoting their program. Scaling Up will receive $30 per course for CEs purchased by participants.

Benefits included in price are: a monthly promo in our newsletter; listed on our CE co-sponsorship page; 1 post on social media about your program to our community.

Some partners want Scaling Up to send marketing emails to our contact list. In order to provide this service to co-sponsors, we require a $500 payment per promo email blast highlighting your course. 

Scaling Up has built a large, loyal community of therapists eager to purchase high quality trainings. If this option is utilized, Scaling Up will offer feedback about discount promotions to offer our community to increase engagement and purchase of your product. Why should I make Continuing Education (CE) credits available for my course?


There are many benefits to offering Continuing Education (CE) credits for your course. The main benefit is that more therapists will likely be interested in purchasing your course. Mental health therapists are required to obtain a certain number of CEs per year to renew their licensure. Therefore, they often want the money they put towards advanced learning to also count towards their licensure renewal.




What are the benefits in partnering with Scaling Up for CEs?


Scaling Up is an established training agency with a large email list and social media following. Partnering with Scaling Up will give you great exposure to an engaged mental health community. Additionally, included in the onboarding cost is exposure to your course through website listing, a social media post and posting in our monthly newsletter to our email list. This is significantly more promotion than most other CE companies offer.




Will Scaling Up administer and promote my course?


No, Scaling Up will not operate your course. You will be responsible for operating and managing your course. In fact, in order to partner with Scaling Up, you will have already needed to establish and launch your course online or in-person before your application will be accepted. Scaling Up will only adminster and manage the Continuing Education (CE) credits, quiz, evaluation and certificate.




How much does it cost me to co-sponsor with Scaling Up?


The initial, one-time onboarding fee costs $500. It will include the first year of administration of CEs, along with: - monthly promo of our co-sponsoring courses in our newsletter; - your course will be listed on our CE co-sponsorship page; - 1 individual post on social media about your course launch to our community. The CEs will cost $30 per person but will be paid directly to Scaling Up from the customer. This will not cost you (the co-sponsor) anything. Lastly, a $300 annual renewal fee will be required (starting 1 year after onboarding). During this time, Scaling Up will audit the course, assess for compliance of the APA and NBCC and conduct an annual meeting with the co-sponsor to assure satisfaction of services.




Will Scaling Up market my course for me?


Scaling Up will not marketing your course more than what is listed above for the $500 onboarding fee, unless you decide to pay extra for email blasts (optional). Some co-sponsors want Scaling Up to send marketing emails to our contact list. In order to provide this service to co-sponsors, we require a $500 payment per promo email blast highlighting your course. How does Scaling Up determine if my course is eligible for CEs?


Scaling Up will review the instructor qualifications, course content, references, quiz, evaluation and marketing materials to ensure they meet the Standards and Criteria for APA and NBCC continuing education credits. As a co-sponsor, Scaling Up will need to be a part of the planning and implementation of the course to maintain eligibility for CEs. If a course is not eligible upon first review, Scaling Up will make recommendations to increase course eligibility.
