When I click on the course access links nothing pulls up - or the videos won’t play, how can I fix this?

You may need to change the internet browser, or perform a software update for the browser you’re using. Make sure that your internet connection is strong and working properly.

To accommodate those working in a remote area with poor or limited internet connection, low resolution video links are available for each training module. You can find these links under the displayed training video in each module.

I have questions for Dr. Jarero and Kelly about the material presented in the training, what is the best way to get them answered?

Watch all the Q&A session replay videos! Chances are someone else had the same questions you have!

I was double-charged for my registration. How do I request a refund?

Can I share this training with a colleague? (ie: one person buys and then shares the access link with someone else who hasn’t paid)

No. Sharing links for an on-demand training is strictly prohibited. Please see our Terms and Agreements signed when you registered for the training.

Are the Live Q&A sessions recorded and sent to all online course participants?

Yes. If you do not access the Q&A live, then you will be sent and given access to the recorded version within the Hub. You may submit your question in advance and get it answered during the live Q&A, even if you are not in attendance. Then you can see the answer in the recorded version on demand.

Are the Live Q&A sessions mandatory course material for the 3 CEs?

No. Attending the Q&A session live is not a mandatory requirement of the course. The Q&A sessions provide an opportunity for you to integrate key learnings and explore the concepts more deeply with your training cohort.

For how long will I have access to the course?

For Live Online courses, participants will have access to the replay for 90 days from the date the replay is made available. For On-Demand courses, participants will have access to the course for 90 days from date of purchase. This includes all training videos, course materials and Q&A recordings.

Are there closed captions on the training videos and Q&A sessions replays?

Unfortunately, at this time our training videos and Q&A sessions replays do not have closed captions.

What is the difference between the ASSYST-Remote and the ASSYST-Individual?

The ASSYST-Individual is taught using eye movement Bilateral Stimulation, which is taught in EMDR basic training. For the ASSYST-Individual training, there are additional details about how to handle dissociation when you are in person, there are details about doing the BLS eye movement, along with other questions. Dr. Jarero teaches the ASSYST-Individual as part of the Advanced EMDR Workshop because it is specifically for EMDR trained practitioners. This procedure also incorporates how to do the ASSYST in a group setting in person, along with EMDR-PRECI and EMDR-IGTP. It is designed for continuity of care across the spectrum using more than just the ASSYST-individual procedure. It also offers a more detailed explanation about the theory behind it.

The ASSYST-Remote is a procedure designed to be used for all therapists, not just those who are EMDR clinicians. The training provides additional details about how to do it remotely, such as what to do if someone dissociates or if they aren't able to do BLS on themselves, etc.

How do I connect with other clinicians trained in the ASSYST-R procedure?

The Hive is a membership platform that will connect you with other professionals around the world who have learned and utilize Dr. Jarero’s protocols. By joining the Hive, you will be able to obtain referrals and peers support, along with access to clinical consultation. Click here to learn more about the Hive.

Are their group rates available for this training?

Please contact us to discuss group rate options. You can send us a message through the website.

Can I take the ASSYST-Remote Group Training if I haven't taken the ASSYST-Remote Individual?

No. The ASSYST-R Group training provides additional insight and applications for using the ASSYST-Remote procedure in a group format. Therefore, foundational understanding of the ASSYST-R is necessary.

Are CEs available for the ASSYST-R Group?

At this time, CEs are not available for the ASSYST-Remote Group on-demand training.

Do I have to be trained in EMDR to be eligible for the ASSYST-R training?

No. The ASSYST-Remote procedure can be used by any professional mental health clinician. EMDR training is not required for this course.
