Who We Are
Scaling Up is a training hub, a service provider for NGOs, and a community for helping professionals.
Mission & Vision
Our mission is to alleviate suffering by building a world with accessible and affordable mental health services by using EMDR therapy and AIP-informed procedures in individual and group formats.
We intend to inform the masses about the benefits of EMDR therapy and AIP-informed procedures and to make EMDR-based individual and group intervention trainings and services more accessible and affordable to therapists, clients and organizations. Through these networks, training opportunities and services, we aspire to global healing through rapidly scalable and effective mental health interventions.
Our vision is a global reduction in stress and trauma symptoms through collective healing. This will be accomplished by:
Accessible and Affordable Trainings
Facilitating growth on a global scale
Educating the masses about EMDR therapy
Expanding research on group interventions

What is EMDR?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma. EMDR therapy is a set of standardized protocols that incorporates elements from many different treatment approaches.
EMDR therapy has been declared an effective form of trauma treatment by a wide range of organizations. In the United States, these include the American Psychiatric Association, the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs and the World Health Organization.
TRAINER & CONSULTANT
"Since the EMDR set, I've had some very visual memories, but they don't cause me to be physically ill in my stomach anymore, which is tremendous for me because that was almost debilitating at times. I cannot thank you enough for the invitation. It was an absolutely priceless experience for me and I appreciate it very, very much."
